THE ROLE.
REPORTS TO TECHNICAL SEO MANAGER
Salary: £32k
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with Technical SEO Manager to carry out key client work, including technical auditing and consulting with web development teams, while meeting agreed timelines.
Frequent, clear communication with your team on challenges, opportunities, and your day to day progress.
A proactive attitude, identifying opportunities to drive client performance.
Enthusiasm for the work you do, and a desire to learn new skills and develop your career in marketing.
Required skills:
Hands-on knowledge of key technical web areas, including (but not limited to) HTML, CSS, JS, understanding the rendering process, basic web accessibility requirements.
Comfortable working in Excel/Google Spreadsheets, managing and analysing large amounts of data, filtering, creating graphs, etc.
Comfortable working in PowerPoint/Google Slides, creating presentations and visually representing data.
A positive, collaborative attitude. You will be a valuable part of a team of 22 people, where everyone has a voice and contributes.
Willingness to learn. You’ll receive plenty of support day to day from experienced members of the team, as well as formal training opportunities on a regular basis – you may not have all of the SEO skills today, but they can be developed very quickly at Found.
Adaptability and accountability. We move quickly and plans can often change. Being comfortable in a fast-moving environment and being able to communicate clearly with your team is key to long-term growth at Found.
Desired skills:
An understanding of the latest developments in Google Search, e.g. algorithm updates and new features.
Wider SEO expertise: whether that’s through previous work or your own personal interests, background knowledge of the SEO fundamentals will be hugely beneficial. This includes areas such as keyword research, content optimisation, and performance analysis. You don’t have to be an expert in these areas, but it will be hugely beneficial in understanding the wider team’s work!
Analytics: an understanding of key SEO performance metrics and where/how to apply them. Any prior experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a big plus.
CMS experience: Experience with common CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Magento & Shopify, as well as some knowledge of headless CMS
Previous experience with common SEO tools, such as Screaming Frog, Keyword Planner, SEMRush, etc.
